I never dreamed what a wonderful journey I was about to embark on when I bought Llama Things from Linda Hayes. I've been raising llamas for eleven years and attending a few shows, but nothing can compare to going to as many shows as I do now and meeting so many fantastic people. I'm still learning and am always open to suggestions from customers concerning their needs for their llamas and alpacas.

Llama Things and Red River Llamas are located 90 miles southeast of Amarillo, TX. I'm 25 miles off Hwy 287 south of Clarendon and west of Memphis.

I have lived on my family farm and ranch for 42 years and what a wonderful place to be! I overlook Red River and an absolutely beautiful view of the pasture; llamas and cattle grazing down in the flat with a backdrop of red bluffs across the river. The sunsets are out of this world.

I have around 25 llamas with two main herd sires: Bertie Wooster and LW Sante Fe co-owned with Danny Keller. I'm very excited about my up and coming herd sire Smokin Rock. I will be offering limited outside breedings. If it is silky and suri fiber you are wanting in your herd, these males have it.

The coffee pot is always on and it is a pleasure to have visitors. Come and shop with me and see the llamas.
